Job Summary
The Assistant Manager supports the Bakery Manager in overseeing daily operations at Ellie May's Gourmet Cookies. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining product quality, and contributing to a positive work environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about baking, team leadership, and creating memorable customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily bakery operations, including opening and closing procedures.

Supervise and train bakery staff to ensure consistent customer service and adherence to company standards.

Ensure all cookies and products meet Ellie May's quality and presentation standards.

Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and promote a welcoming atmosphere.

Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.

Support scheduling, ensuring adequate staffing for peak hours and events.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized bakery in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Help drive sales through upselling and promoting seasonal or specialty items.

Collaborate with the Bakery Manager on marketing initiatives and community events.
Qualifications

Previous experience in a bakery, retail, or food service environment preferred.

Basic knowledge of inventory management and point-of-sale systems.

Job Summary
The Bakery Assistant/Cashier is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, handling cash transactions, and assisting with daily bakery tasks. This role supports the team in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment while ensuring customers leave with a smile and delicious cookies.
Key Responsibilities
